At Wilsen Initiative we run periodic Skill-UP master sessions in partnership with like-minded individuals (shared values) and institutions with a goal of creating platforms for sharing skills while inspiring collaborative lifelong learning. 

 On 15th February 2021 we hosted the second master session in collaboration with Oasis Mathare and Gerald Anderson. The session was attended by 15 participants from different genres within the creative sector, communication department and project management. 

 The Session Objectives: - 
  1. How to cultivate a more relatable PERSONAL BRAND. 
  2. Leading and learning on Social media 
  3. How to build and maintain your digital identity. 
  4. Photography based more on human interest stories (digital storytelling)

5 Things That Defines Quality in Our Master Classes / Session.  

Our learning approach is purposeful, where learners are provided with the ability to effectively learn, and retain the skills and knowledge gained. 

It is a holistic Experience that offers; 
  1.  Learning by Doing: - 80 practice and 20 theories.
  2. The challenge of the day 
  3. Creative and innovative lectures that use different facilitation and training methodologies. 
  4. Case studies that have been proven. 
  5. Key take away. 
We Need Your Support 

Our vision is to reach at least 1000 participants by the end of 2021. We offer Skill-UP master session that targets different groups of children (8 - 12 years), teens (13 to 19 years), youth (18 - 30) and open age from 18+ 

 To make this goal possible, we need your support and below is how; 
  •  Sponsored modelIn cash - (main sponsor) by donating funds that will enable us plan all the logistics and any necessary cost. This will allow us to provide free training to the target groups, especially children and youth. • In Kind - Host one of our event, help us mobilize participants, connect us to relevant entities and individuals experts to become facilitators. 
  •  Paid Model The sponsorship model seeks to raise funds so that we can train the underserved groups (children and youth) while the paid model targets participants who will pay a fee to attend the session. This model targets the open age category 18+ years.
