The A.C.T Philosophy +throughMylens

Business 101 Today I want to salute everyone who works hard to make ends meet, particularly those who own businesses with a net worth of around $50. (approximately Kes 5000). There are more things you do that the average individual who lacks a business lens might not notice.

I now know that starting a business requires more than just money, an idea, registration, a business plan, etc.

 The A.C.T Philosophy +throughMylens The acronym A.C.T, which stands for Attitude, Courage, and Tenacity, contains one crucial element of starting any business.

 Quote

" To thrive in business, one must be willing to put up with discomfort, such as getting up early, searching for a suitable market that may be far away, sleeping late, dealing with customers, experiencing no business traction, etc." - Wilson Masaka, Youth Advocate and Social Entrepreneur.

"Our mentality is the pinnacle of everything; you can have money and still fail to launch a business." - Wilson Masaka, Youth Advocate and Social Entrepreneur In case you didn't know, there are people who attend business school who still fail to launch any business.

On the other hand, there are people whose genes are infused with business savvy, and anything they attempt to launch succeeds because they have mastered the act of conducting business, particularly by doing the unusual, uncomfortable, and unexpected things.

 #SmartphonePhotography I took this picture during my routine walk at my usual sugar cane location. I asked some of these queries to myself;

  1. What is his daily profit?
  2. What inspires him?
  3. What skills does he possess?
  4. How much money did he invest in the business?
  5. Does he save part of the profit?
  6. What other people does he support financial?
  7. Does he have a financial goal?  Among others!

 I have been conducting personal research on small businesses in underserved areas with a focus on what they need to scale their operations, what makes them successful, how they got started, what caused them to fail, and how to save money for the future.

Get in contact with me to schedule a master class on business 101 for your youth group.
