#SelfMade  Did you know?

When I post 100 success stories, keep in mind that there were over 1000 efforts and failures that I did not reveal to anyone.

Simply do your part and seek God's guidance along the process and never expect miracles, luck or magic to save you.

Luck accounts for only 1% of my personal journey; the remaining 99% is made up of consistency, hard work, trying, failures, seeking help, and maintaining an optimistic mindset, to name a few.

Thanks to everyone who has supported my journey. I'm not where I'm supposed to be, but definitely I'm not where I was many years back.

Do You Have an Idea - My Philosophy About Ideas.

 šŸ’” Founders 360° +throughMylens

Many ideas have not seen the light of day owing to a lack of resources, an incorrect execution approach, the improper team, or a false start, to name a few.  In my journey of founding the Wilsen Initiative (Wi), which is still in its early phases, I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experiences that I would want to share as follows:

šŸ“ If you have an idea, test it before sharing it or inviting others to join you in the cause.

šŸ“ If you come up with an idea as a team of no more than three people, specify your roles before implementing or testing it.

šŸ“ If you come up with an idea during a group session with more than three people, take your time before defining roles or testing the idea, because there is always a need for follow-up to check who truly understands the idea, consistent and passionate.

Finally, don't share your idea with every Tom, Dick, or Harry. There's nothing new under the sun in terms of ideas, but the strategy behind why and how you execute your idea is always the differentiator that sets you apart from the competition.

Brand Visibility - Football Clubs

#POV The Dark Tunnel Of Kenyan Football ⚽ #FootballMadeMeSeries

Now that the 2024/2025 season has ended, it is time for the Football Federation and all of the teams to do a thorough study of what went well and what did not, also known as WWSW vs. WWNSW.

It cannot be business as usual, one circle after another, with an expectation of a different and better outcome. Today, I'd want to provide one recommendation that I believe will help with brand visibility and marketing towards club financing, attracting sponsorship, investors, and partners.

As per the CAF (Confederation of African Football) Club Licensing regulations, teams are required to have a youth team and an active senior women's team to participate in the regional competition. My question is, does Nairobi United F.C. have a youth and a women's team?

Well, I have a lot of Kenya Premier League teams that do not have their own youth or women's teams, but are affiliated with other teams.  My recommendation is that the Football Federation demand that teams not be affiliated with other teams (youth and women's teams), but instead form their own teams for youth and women's development using the same brand identity in the FKF league.

Mathare United F.C., Mathare United Women's Team, and Mathare United Youth Team are three excellent models that should be followed.  Police F.C., Police Bullets, and Police Youth F.C., Gor Mahia F.C., Gor Mahia Youth, and Gor Mahia Ladies are just a few examples.  Brand identity is also an important factor in obtaining suitable partners, sponsors, and investors.

Just to cite three great examples that should be emulated, we have Mathare United F.C., Mathare United Women's Team, and Mathare United Youth Team. Police F.C., Police Bullets, and Police Youth F.C., Gor Mahia F.C, Gor Mahia Youth and Gor Mahia ladies just to mention a few.

Brand identity is also one critical element in attracting the ideal partners, sponsors, and investors.

THE CHALLENGE #BrandVisibilityGoesWrong

šŸ“Œ Here's an assignment for you to finish:  List all of the Kenya Premier League teams for the 2025/2026 season, match their men's, women's, and youth teams, and remember to include their level in the FKF league.
