World Cup Series 2026 Series

 Football Made Me Series

Bits and Pieces

Semi Za Maja +throughMylens / World Cup Series 2026

Football has taught me that every goal carries a different emotion, but not every goal deserves the same celebration.

As I watched the World Cup, I paid close attention not just to the goals, but to everything surrounding them the build-up, the timing, the celebrations, the reactions, and the momentum shifts that followed. One lesson stood out: football is as much a game of emotional discipline as it is of technical ability.

The matches between England and Argentina, and Argentina and Egypt, will remain memorable examples of resilience, teamwork, individual brilliance, and the never-give-up spirit displayed by the defending champions, Argentina. They reminded us that a match is never won until the referee blows the final whistle.

As we look forward to the final between Spain and Argentina, one thing is certain: the battle will be decided not only by skill, but also by composure under pressure.

Every goal tells a different story:

1. The opening goal – the excitement of taking the lead.

2. The equaliser – the belief that hope has been restored.

3.The go-ahead goal – the confidence that victory is within reach.

4. The winning goal – the only goal whose value is confirmed when the final whistle sounds.

There is no universal formula for celebrating goals. Every match has its own rhythm, every opponent presents different challenges, and every minute on the clock changes the emotional weight of a goal. Great teams celebrate with passion, but they also understand that football can change in an instant.

Celebrate every goal with joy, but celebrate every victory with humility. Until the final whistle, the game is still writing its story.

Quote:

"Goals create moments of joy, but only the final whistle decides which celebration becomes history."
