Even though I couldn't instantly help him out, I shared his request on social media,
where two of my friends chipped in, and his wish was granted.
Next Generation Star
Although I am aware that this present won't last forever, the way we made him feel will live on in both of our memories.
Wilsen Initiative and +throughMylens Two great quotes that are the foundation of our initiative.

~ " You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you." - John Bunyan
Wilsen Initiative (Wi)
We aim to reach every child who plays football in Mathare North by not only offering material assistance to enable safe play with dignity but also by making sure we instill enduring values (generosity, teamwork, skill sharing, professionalism, etc.) through the experiences we foster through football-related activities and up skilling training programs.
I want to appreciate everyone who has helped us achieve our mission since inception, you will always be in our hearts.
Call For Support
Given that the campaign is still ongoing, there are still numerous teams and players that we need to support.
It is unfortunate to see so many young people playing barefoot, and it seems that this tendency will persist given the challenging economic environment that has caused price increases on all goods and services.
We continue to ask for assistance in this endeavor, from all of our well-wishers, friends, and supporters in an effort to restore hope.
The campaign specifically focuses on U10 - U15 teams in Mathare North.
Don't be left behind...
I hereby invite you to donate any football-related items to U10-U15 teams.
You can either donate partially used (second-hand) equipment and materials, help us purchase brand-new ones, help us organise for Up-Skilling program or work with us to organize football uniforms branded Wilsen Initiative (Wi).
