Every month, I provide free 5- to 8 hours training and mentoring under the +throughMylens // Consult to any youth- or community-led projects in Nairobi to assist their team in becoming competent in a variety of job-related skills.
Mission
I've accumulated more than ten years of job experience across full-time, temporary, and independent work. I'd love to share my knowledge with young people who are preparing for the job after noticing a significant lack, particularly in fundamental technical and soft skills.
I continue to strive to do and be more. Though I haven't given up on finding long-term employment, my community initiative, or my efforts at self-employment, the majority of what I have been doing has been concentrated on short-term contracts.

+throughMylens is a freelance venture that seeks to create value by training diverse groups in 21st century skills as a way of creating solid foundations in readiness for the world of work both as employees and self-employed.
I provide professional mentoring, training, and consulting services for a fee in a range of fields, including graphic design, branding, photography, social media, story-telling, TOT, creative entrepreneurship, presentation skills, online research, creative ICT, financial literacy, blogging, project management, business model canvas, organisation change management and life skills training. My primary target audience consists of youth centers, community football clubs, community based organizations, youth-led initiatives, and any other organized groupings.

Advisory
I would still advise young people to learn more varied skills and develop a better grasp of financial literacy, especially with regard to saving and investing, even if they have no plans to become accountants in the future.
The youth should also be advised not to place all of their hopes and dreams in their 9–5 jobs while depriving themselves of the chance to investigate more of their other choices, especially when it comes to pursuing their dreams (Self Made).
