On Wednesday, November 29 we had the honor of conducting a Skill Up Master session at the Mwiki Kasarani-based Bright Future Starlets.
Highlights of the Session
Esther Mazira, co-founder of She Can and IaM a sHERO, talked about her experiences in football and schooling. Her advice on building powerful personal brands based on aptitude, attitude, character, and life experiences was both inspirational and practical.
I spoke about peer pressure and how to build a solid team around values using the balloon analogy.
Through IaM as a sHERO, She Can program we are in a mission to mentor, share, upskill and learn more from young girls who are the at stage of their career development and personal development.
We strive to bring the best learning experiences which would open more avenues of teamwork, critical thinking, self awareness, lifelong learning etc. Using our stories and tapping into participants journeys we create safe spaces for dialogue with an aim of becoming even better and focused with the future while learning from the past.
