Wilsen Initiative (Wi)
I'd like to congratulate Red Eagle F.C on winning the U11 category of the Mathare North Festive Season Football Tournament, which was held yesterday.
We applaud your outstanding achievement during the competition, which makes it a double triumph as, on December 31, 2022, you also won the U15 category.
I want to use this chance to express my gratitude to everyone who helped the tournament be a huge success.
Call For Support
In April 2023 is when the next edition is most likely to happen, but everything depends on the resources and support we will obtain.
The Goal
The main goal is to use football to encourage social change during the school breaks. We especially involve the youth and kids in creative art sessions, skill-building activities, and outreach friendly matches and a football tournament.
Awards
The winners received branded Wilsen Initiative (Wi) jerseys and a ball and the runners-up received a ball.
Play Safe With Dignity
Additionally, we gave a pair of football shoes to each of the 5 players that we identified during the tournament.
